About the Corner Collective
The Young Artist Market is the largest annual event of The Corner Collective, a gallery space and social enterprise-inspired initiative that showcases and provides a sales platform for the creative work produced by the young people engaging in creative programming at My Friend’s Place. Each young artist receives 100% of the sales price of their artwork. The Corner Collective, in addition to providing young people with skill development and income opportunities, offers opportunities to explore creative expression and to bolster positive self-regard around a young person's identity and belonging as a valued member of the community.
