About the Corner Collective
The Annual Young Artist Market is the largest annual event for The Corner Collective - a gallery space and social enterprise - that showcases and provides a sales platform for the creative work of the young people produced through the creative programming at My Friend’s Place. Each young artist receives 100% of the sales price of their artwork. The Corner Collective, in addition to providing young people with skill development and income opportunities, offers opportunities to explore creative expression and to bolster positive self-regard around their identities as valued members of the community.
