In-Kind Wish List

Thank you for your help! Our in-kind needs are constantly changing, however below is a list of items we most frequently use on an ongoing basis. Please check back for updates to the Wish List.

Current Most Requested Items:

  • Jeans
  • Plus sized clothing
  • Hoodies
  • Warm socks
  • Sketchpads

Safe Haven and Clothing Closet:

We accept clothing new or gently used (no holes, stains or mildew):

  • Men’s and women’s casual clothing
  • Men’s and women’s shoes
  • Men’s and women’s underwear (must be new)
  • Men’s and women’s socks (must be new)
  • Bras and sports bras
  • Backpacks
  • Belts
  • Bags, purses, and wallets
  • Sleeping bags and blankets
  • Alarm clocks (portable and battery-powered, please!)
  • Travel-sized toiletries (toothbrushes, dental floss, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, sunscreen,  nail clippers etc.)

Food Items:

  • Canned and non-perishable food (new and unopened only)
  • Individually wrapped snacks (granola bars, chips, etc.)

Education, Employment and Creative Arts Workshops:

  • bus tokens
  • ivory resume paper and blank CDs
  • pocket calendars
  • coloring books
  • drawing pads
  • composition and spiral-bound notebooks
  • pocket folders
  • textbooks and flashcards
  • GED study guides
  • ballpoint pens
  • fast food coupons and Target gift cards in $5 amounts
  • portable CD player for music therapy
  • Air brush supplies-compressor, painting needle
  • Magazines
  • Fabric paint/fabric paint markers
  • Silk screening supplies
  • Fabric scissors (helps to have more than one pair)
  • Trim, lace, decals, patches

Health and Well-Being and Parenting Program

New items only please:

  • diapers and individual packs of wipes
  • baby formula (powdered preferred)

We accept the following, new or gently used:

  • baby clothing and shoes (infant and toddler sizes only)
  • potty chairs
  • bottles
  • baby blankets
  • fold-up strollers
  • learning toys (for ages 0-5)
  • maternity clothes

Items we do not currently need:

  • Furniture (including beds, couches, and chairs)
  • Appliances (including microwaves, computers and printers)
  • DVDs or VHS cassette tapes
